Neck and Shoulder Problems

Stress, poor posture, excessive computer use (or other hand held tools) can all lead to neck and shoulder problems.

Why?

Because the muscles get tired, the joints freeze and the general balance in this area is affected.  The body adapts as best it can but unless we take note and change that which is causing the problem and get the body released, such problems can lead to the following:

  • chronic pain
  • headaches
  • loss of strength in hands
  • reduced range of movement
  • breathing difficulties
  • tingling
  • insomnia

Nigel’s story:
Nigel and I met during a presentation at his company.  He complained that he had a ‘stiff neck’ and really, there was nothing anyone could do about it – he had seen several therapists in years past with little success so he had reconciled himself to living with this problem.  Well, we sorted it –I would take his head to a position where the stiffness kicked in and work on it and move his head to another position and again and again until he had full movement… together we‘chased’ the stiffness away.

Nigel’s Testimonial
“Diksha, I would like to say how grateful I am to you for sorting out my ‘stiff neck’ with associated ‘pins and needles’ problem. Having had this problem for several years, and after unsuccessful treatments from GP and physio’s I had resigned myself to having to live with it. I was initially concerned that your treatment might be too robust, however, I need not have worried. I am now extremely pleased to be ‘normal’ again.  I would have no hesitation in recommending you and your treatments. Many thanks!”
